Map

September 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Sections of earthwork bank (since levelled) which may have related to a possible post medieval field boundary are seen on aerial photographs (S1). It is also possible that the sections of bank may have related to a post medieval to modern trackway associated with a nearby farm (centred at TF 9187 1089) visible on S1. It is also possible that the feature may have related to a modern service. The feature is not visible on the readily available historic maps (such as S3 and S4). The feature is seen as a low earthwork on S1. The feature is presumed to have been levelled as the sections of bank are not visible on later sources including recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S2).
