Full Description
November 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Part of a parish boundary, of post medieval date but potentially of medieval origin, is visible as low, fragmentary earthworks on visualised lidar data (S1). It is also depicted on the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition 25 inch map (S2). The boundary lies between the modern parishes of Beeston with Bittering and Beetley. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the earthworks still survive.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 21 November 2023.
