Map

November 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A probable post medieval field boundary can be seen as an earthwork on recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1). The mapped feature may correspond with a field boundary visible on the Tithe map (S2). However, the earthwork bank appears to extend further than the mapped extent of field boundary recorded on S2. The probable field boundary likely dates to the post medieval period. However, an earlier date for the feature cannot be ruled out. As the feature is visible as an earthwork on the recent (2017) visualised lidar, it is likely that the feature still survives as an earthwork.
