Map

A probable post medieval field boundary can be seen as an earthwork on recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1). The boundary is likely of a post-medieval date, however, an earlier date for the feature cannot be ruled out. The feature may cross a low earthwork bank, which most likely relates to an earlier, possibly medieval, field system (NHER 67078). The feature is not visible on the readily available historic maps such as the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S2). As the feature is visible as an earthwork on the recent (2017) visualised lidar data, it is likely that the feature still survives as an earthwork.
