Banks and ditches which most likely relate to probable post medieval boundaries are seen as earthworks on aerial photographs and recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1-S2). The banks and ditches most likely relate to boundaries, or parkland features associated with Dunham Lodge Park (NHER 51588). The probable boundary bank and ditch centred at approximately TF 8733 1293 may have related to a former post medieval plantation boundary associated with “Ash Plantation” recorded on S3 and S4. It is also possible that some of the mapped ditch features could instead relate to post medieval to modern drainage ditches. As the earthworks are visible on recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S2), it is likely that the features still survive as low earthworks.
