Full Description
December 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Linear ditches, possibly field boundaries, of unknown date, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1). They appear to pre-date the late post medieval pattern of enclosure depicted on 19th century maps, such as the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S2).
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 7 December 2023.
