Summary

High rear wall and area railings associated with 17 Market Place (NHER 11596) and explicity included in the listing description for this building. The wall is of probable 18th- or early 19th-century date and extends southwards from the long 17th-century wing to the rear of 17 Market Place.

Excerpt of Listing Description for 17 Market Place (NHER 67876):
"...Area railings to south-east: single wrought iron railings with spearhead shafts and urn finial to stanchions. High rear wall to south: flint cobbles with brick dressings and ramped brick copping; probably 18th- or early 19th-century date. Included for group value."
