A Second World War military site, possibly an anti-aircraft gun emplacement or searchlight emplacement, is visible as buildings and structures on 1940s aerial photographs (S1-S2). At the southern end, a group of huts and other structures is visible along the hedge line. A surfaced track leads to a faint circular structure or mark at the northern end of the site. No trace of the site is visible on more recent aerial sources (such as S3).
