Map

December 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A broad ditch is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs (S1). It possibly corresponds with a previously identified medieval hollow way, recorded as part of NHER 23885. It could instead be part of a field boundary or drainage ditch. More recent aerial sources, including visualised lidar data from a 2017 survey (S2), show that it has since been levelled.
