Map

January 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Possible medieval to post medieval field boundaries can be seen as cropmarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S4). The features may date to the medieval to post medieval period. However, an earlier date for the features cannot be ruled out. The cropmarks of post medieval field boundaries recorded on the readily accessible historic maps (such as S5) are also visible on the aerial photographs. These features have not been mapped as they have recorded in good detail on the historic maps.
