Full Description
January 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The earthworks and cropmarks of a probable medieval to post medieval field boundary are seen on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data (S1-S3). As the survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the feature still survives as a low earthwork. The feature can also be seen as a cropmark on S1 and S3. The feature is not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps such as S4.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 23 January 2024.
