NHER 68025 (Cropmark and Earthwork record) - Earthworks of a probable medieval to post medieval boundary ditch

The earthworks of a probable medieval to post medieval boundary ditch are seen on aerial photographs and relatively recent visualised lidar data (S1-S4). The date of the feature is unknown. However, a medieval to post medieval date is probable. The feature may have related to a former field boundary, a possible property boundary or a post medieval drainage ditch. The feature can be seen as a low earthwork on the aerial photographs and the visualised lidar lidar data (S4). As the survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the feature still survives as a low earthwork. The feature is not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps such as S5.
