Summary

Trial trenching at this site in 2015 uncovered a number of probable boundary and drainage ditches and a large infilled quarry pit – none of which produced any dating evidence.

Evaluation of proposed development site.
The four trenches excavated revealed a number of ditches on varying alignments, none of which produced any dating evidence. A large probable quarry pit was the only discrete feature recorded. This was also undated.
No unstatified finds were recovered.
