Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2022 recovered a small group of 16th-century coins likely to represent a dispersed hoard or purse loss. They are extremely worn suggesting they were probably lost or deposited at some point in the 17th century.

4 post-medieval coins of the later Tudor period likely to represent a dispersed hoard or purse loss. They are extremely worn suggesting they were probably lost or deposited at some point in the 17th century.

These coins were disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2024 T184) and returned to the finder.
