Summary

Foundation trenches excavated for a number of new buildings at this site in 2017/2018 revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. Despite the depth of the trenches only probable made-ground deposits were encountered, suggesting a considerable amount of past disturbance.

Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of several new dwellings and commercial units.
Although the foundation trenches were dug to a depth of c.1.20m only made ground deposits were encountered, suggesting the site was much disturbed.
No finds were recovered.
