Full Description

February 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A Second World War sewage works, formerly associated with Wendling Airfield (NHER 7275), is seen as an extant structure on aerial photographs (S1-S7). The sewage works appears to continue in use after the closure of the airfield. However, some elements of the site are removed between 1946 (S4) and 1988 (S5). The sewage works is visible and is in use on more recent (2022) aerial photographs.
