Full Description
March 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The earthworks of probable post medieval field boundaries are seen on visualised lidar data (S1). As the survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the features still survive as low earthworks. A probable post medieval date for the features is suitable. However, an earlier, medieval date cannot be ruled out. The possible field boundaries are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps (such as S2 and S3).
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 07 March 2024.
