Summary

A pond and what may be associated garden features of post medieval date are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs within Vicarage Park (NHER 33465). More recent aerial photographs from 2022 and visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 show that although the pond still survives, the other earthworks have presumably been levelled and perhaps destroyed. The pond, which is circular, may be a natural feature. It is depicted on a late 19th century Ordnance Survey map. The other features appear to relate to the pond, and may have been part of the vicarage gardens and park (NHER 33465).
