Full Description
March 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A partial ring ditch, probably a post medieval tree ring, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (S1) within Vicarage Park (NHER 33465). It is not visible on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 (S2) and has presumably been levelled. It is one of several tree rings recorded in the park, but unlike the others it is not depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S3).
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 8 March 2024.
