Map

March 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The earthworks of probable medieval field boundaries are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (S1). The earthworks have been partially levelled. However, some of the features are visible as low on the visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 (S2). Although the features are likely to be medieval in date, a post medieval date for the features cannot be ruled out. The boundaries are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps such as S3.
