Full Description
April 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of probable medieval to post medieval field boundaries are seen on aerial photographs (S1). The date of the features is unknown. However, a medieval to post medieval date is probable. However, the possibility that some of the mapped features could relate to post medieval to modern drainage cannot be ruled out. The features are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps such as S2 and S3.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17 April 2024.
