Map

April 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a possible double ditched rectilinear enclosure and possible boundary ditches of an unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Although the date of the features is uncertain, the form of the possible double ditched rectilinear enclosure may suggest a Roman date. Geological cropmarks can also be seen across the area on the aerial photographs (S1). It is possible that some of mapped features could be geological rather than archaeological in origin.
