Evaluation of area to be affected by proposed junction improvements and associated highway works (Area D; Trenches 21-24).
Four trenches excavated at the northern edge of this site revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.
Deep subsoil deposits were present in all of the trenches.
No finds were recovered.
