Summary

A series of linear ditch features, which may relate to possible post medieval ridge and furrow, are visible as cropmarks or possibly very low earthworks (since levelled) on 1940s aerial photographs. Any surviving earthworks have presumably been levelled with the possible ridge and furrow visible as cropmarks on later aerial photographs taken in 1988. The archaeological origin of the features is uncertain. It is equally possible that the linear features could be the product of modern agricultural activity.
