Full Description
May 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project (volunteer strand).
A probable post medieval field boundary is visible as a low earthwork on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 (S1). As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is probable that the earthwork still survives. The feature may be contemporary with other boundaries recorded in the vicinity (such as NHER 50630, 200m to the southwest), or others depicted on 19th century maps, such as the Tithe map (S2).
