Summary

A ring ditch, of unknown date and function, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. It could be the site of a small Bronze Age round barrow, or a prehistoric round house. It is surrounded by the fragmentary cropmarks of a field system and possible enclosures (NHER 64943), which could feasibly be of Late Iron Age to Roman date.

A ring ditch, of unknown date and function, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). It could be the site of a small Bronze Age round barrow, or a prehistoric round house; various other interpretations are also possible. It is surrounded by the fragmentary cropmarks of a field system and possible enclosures (NHER 64943), which could feasibly be of Late Iron Age to Roman date. It is not known whether the ring ditch is contemporary with these other features.
