Summary

Earthwork sections of a probable boundary bank, of an unknown, but likely medieval to post medieval date are visible on relatively recent (2017) visualised lidar data. As the features are visible on the visualised lidar data, it is likely that the features still survive as very low earthworks. The section of bank may have related to a former medieval to post medieval field boundary.

Earthwork sections of a probable boundary bank, of an unknown, but likely medieval to post medieval date are visible on relatively recent visualised lidar data (S1). As the features are visible on the visualised lidar data, it is likely that the features still survive as very low earthworks. The section of bank may have related to a former medieval to post medieval field boundary. The features are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps (such as (S2-S3). The earthwork sections of bank may have been spread buy agricultural ploughing over time, resulting in the features appearing to be very wide (approximately between 10 and 15m in width) on the visualised lidar data.
