Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2024 recovered two Late Iron Age coins of a similar type likely to represented part of a scattered coin hoard or purse loss.

Found approximately 500m apart:
2 Late Iron Age gold coins - both Freckenham-type staters. Although found a substantial distance apart it is likely that these coins represent part of a scattered coin hoard or purse loss.

These coins were disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2024 T806) and returned to the finder.
