February 2012. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks with Wymondham Sewage Treatment Works (Area A).
The excavation of a trench at this location revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. Natural clay deposits were encountered at c.1.00m below present ground level. Previous disturbance was indicated by the presence of rubble, concrete and other modern debris in the overlying material.
No finds were recovered.
