Summary

Earthwork banks and ditches (since levelled) which most likely relate to post medieval field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The majority of the features appear to have been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 1968 with some of the features visible as soilmarks. Any surviving earthworks at the site have presumably been levelled as the area is now under modern housing. It is also possible that some of the features could relate to modern drainage.

Earthwork banks and ditches (since levelled) which most likely relate to post medieval field boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (S1-S2). The majority of the features appear to have been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 1968 (S3) with some of the features visible as soilmarks. Any surviving earthworks at the site have presumably been levelled as the area is now under modern housing (visible on S4). Although the features are likely to be post medieval date, a medieval date for some of the features cannot be ruled out. It is also possible that some of the features could relate to modern drainage.
