Full Description
September 2015-March 2016. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of deliberate ground disturbance works undertaken as part of the Breaking New Ground Landscape Partnership project.
In places the removal of turf and some topsoil exposed the underlying natural sand, but no archaeologically-significant features were observed.
Finds were limited to a small number of modern metal objects.
