Map

October 2024. Stray Find.
Many Roman pottery sherds noted within rubble/hardcore laid down, probably quite recently, with a grass protection mat to facilitate vehicular access at entrance to field used as car park for St Andrew's church. A small sample of greyware sherds collected appear to be in fresh condition and are potentially all from the same dish or bowl.
The source of these sherds is unclear at present.
