Full Description
July 2022. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
The five trenches excavated revealed only a single east-to-west aligned ditch. This feature produced no finds, although its orientation (parallel to School Road) suggests it was probably not of great antiquity.
No unstratified finds were recovered.
See report (S1) for further details.
An archive associated with this work has been deposited with Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2022.135).
