Full Description
Barn 30m to south-west of Swainsthorpe Hall (NHER 13245). Previously recorded under NHER 13245.
September 1988. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Three stead threshing barn. Early 18th century. Timber framed with wattle and daub infill and later brick. Pantiled roof. Tarred infill on brick plinth. Full height central doors to east and opposing, lower, doors to west. Gabled roof. Complete timber frame of light scantling with arched braces to corners. Roof of tie beams on arched braces, two tiers butt purlins and collars".
