Summary

Timber-framed barn of 17th-century date adjacent to The Rookery (NHER 13246). It has a brick plinth, cladding of vertical planks and a pantiled roof.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Barn. 17th century. Timber framed on brick plinth and with wattle and daub infill. Pantiled roof. Exterior is cladded in vertical planks. Double doors to south in centre and outshut entrance to north sides. Gabled roof. Timber frame of thin scantling with arched braces to corners. Roof of tie beams on arched braces, principals, two tiers staggered butt purlins and cambered collars."
