Location

Civil Parish YAXHAM, BRECKLAND, NORFOLK

Map

April 2013. Watching Brief.
Maintained during construction of two new dwellings and detached garage.
The foundation trenches excavated revealed a single pit. Although this feature produced no dating evidence its stratigraphic position suggested it was most likely modern.
It is noted that part of the site was covered by a stagnant pond that had been partly infilled with modern building rubble.
No finds were recovered.
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
