Summary

Between 1975 and 2024 fieldwalking in the vicinity of Lodge Farm recovered a number of objects, including a Mesolithic flint adze or axehead; a pebble macehead of Mesolithic or later date; a Neolithic part-polished flint axehead and a Roman pottery sherd. Unfortunately the exact provenances for these finds are unknown.
