Summary

A watching brief maintained during the excavation of a cable trench in 2008/2009 recorded no archaeologically signfiicant features or deposits. Finds were limited to a small number of post-medieval/modern pottery sherds and pieces of post-medieval clay tobacco pipe.

Maintained during excavation of trench for electrical cable.
No archaeologically-significant features or deposits were observed.
A small number of post-medieval/modern pottery sherds and two pieces of post-medieval clay tobacco pipe were recovered from an area at the eastern end of the cable route (between TG 41461 01753 and TG 41575 01709).
