The cropmarks of a post medieval field boundary are visible on aerial photographs taken in 2022 (S1). The feature most likely relates to a former field boundary. The features most likely dates to the post medieval period, however, a medieval date for the feature cannot be ruled out. The feature is not depicted on any readily accessible historical maps (such as the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition 25" map; S2) but fits the same general pattern of enclosure.
