Summary

The earthworks of possible boundary banks, of a probable medieval to post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The features are presumed to have been levelled as they are not visible on the relatively recent (2017) visualised lidar data. The features may relate to former medieval to post medieval field boundaries or boundaries associated with settlement.

The earthworks of possible boundary banks, of a probable medieval to post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1950 (S1-S2). The features are presumed to have been levelled as they are not visible on the relatively recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S3). The features may relate to former medieval to post medieval field boundaries or boundaries associated with settlement. The earthworks of post medieval to modern drainage (not mapped) features are also visible across the area on S1. The boundary banks are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps such as S4-S5.
