Full Description
March 2025. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A probable medieval to post medieval field boundary is visible as an earthwork on visualised lidar data, from a survey flown in 2017 (S1). Other, similar features visible in the same field on the same source correspond with field boundaries depicted on 19th-century maps, such as the Tithe Map (S2) and are not included in the record. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that any earthworks still survive.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 19 March 2025.
