Full Description
March 2025. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A linear ditch of unknown date is visible as an earthwork on 1940s and later aerial photographs (S1-S3). It could be part of a medieval to post medieval field boundary, or could represent a drainage feature of modern or earlier date. Visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2017 indicates that the feature has been levelled.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 19 March 2025.
