September 1998. Metal-detecting. [1].
Found by six members of AHS:
12 medieval silver Short Cross coins likely to represent a dispersed hoard or purse loss (now identified as Batch A). The nature and condition of these coins suggest they were probably deposited between 1230 and 1250.
These coins were disclaimed as Treasure and returned to the finders. See (S1) and (S2).
Previously recorded under NHER 24415 - see NHER 24415 for details of unrelated single medieval and post-medieval coins found at the same time.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 1 September 2025.

December 1999 to January 2000. Metal detecting. [2].
Found by [3]-[6]:
7 medieval coins. 6 are silver Short Cross pennies and form a first addendum to the hoard recovered in September 1998 (Batch B). The last coin is a potentially associated fragmentary Irish penny of John (c.1207-1211), which puts the total for the hoard at 20 coins. These coins slightly refine the likely date of deposition, to 1240-1250.
See four lists in file.
These coins were disclaimed as Treasure and returned to the finders. See (S3).
Previously recorded under NHER 24415 - see NHER 24415 for details of what was almost certainly an unrelated medieval coin and a post-medieval button found at the same time.
A. Rogerson (NLA) 16 September 2000. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 1 September 2025.

February-March 2012. Metal-detecting. [7].

Information from PAS import.
These coins were disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2014 T327) and returned to the finder.
