Map

February 2016. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of site on proposed route of Poringland to Whitlingham Rising Main pipeline (Field 9).
This survey identified two linear anomalies likely to represent infilled ditches, one aligned north-north-east to south-south-west and the other north-to-south. The former corresponds with a 19th-century field boundary that appears on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map (S1), but not the earlier Kirby Bedon tithe map (S2).
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
