Summary

This 18th-century wall surrounding Dersingham Hall (NHER 8375) was listed Grade II in 1984, along with its associated gate piers and entrance gates. The wall is primarily built from carstone rubble, with brick dressings and a triangular-section rubble coping. There is a gateway flanked by brick gate piers on Chapel Road and narrower pedestrian wicket entrances on Manor Road and Chapel Road (the latter now blocked).

Listing Description excerpt:
"Garden wall, entrance gates and gate piers attached to east of Dersingham Hall. 18th century. Along Chapel Road, turned through right angles along Manor Road. Rubble carstone with brick dressings, triangular section rubble coping. On Chapel Road 2 square brick gate piers with stone copings and roundels enclosing a 2-leaf raised and fielded panelled pair of gates, with a blocked pedestrian wicket entrance to west. On Manor Road an arched brick dressed pedestrian wicket with boarded door. Included for group value."
