Summary

This medieval stone cross base in the churchyard of St Nicholas' Church (NHER 1581) dates to the 14th century. The detached head of the shaft also survives.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Cross base and detached head of shaft in churchyard. Medieval, perhaps C14 Decorated. Stone. Square base and head of cross with 4 gables trefoil headed angles, shaft of foliate cross springing out of top."
