NHER 65922 (Find Spot record) - Mult-period finds

January-February 2025. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of onshore cable for Norfolk Vanguard and Boreas Offshore Wind Farms (Field 138).
No significant concentrations of material were identified. Finds recovered included:
1 undated (but most likely post-medieval) fragment of undiagnostic ceramic building material.
8 undated copper alloy unidentified objects, 3 lead ?weights, 3 unidentified lead objects, 2 pieces of lead waste, an iron nail and 4 pieces of iron slag.
1 prehistoric flint bladelet, 1 blade-like flake, 1 flake and 1 piece of irregular waste.
2 ?Middle/Late Saxon ?hooked tags.
1 Saxon/medieval strap end.
1 medieval pottery sherd and a buckle.
Medieval/post-medieval buckle and 2 copper alloy vessel fragments.
1 post-medieval coin, 1 pottery sherd, 3 buttons and a lead pistol ball.
3 post-medieval/modern coins, 5 buttons, 3 decorative disc fragments, 2 ?decorative mounts, 2 domed furniture studs, a ?brooch fragment, buckle, keyhole cover, spoon, pendant handle from furniture, mount, cog wheel from clock or similar machine, 2 lead musket or carbine balls, 2 lead cloth or feedbag seals, a lead ?palm guard, lead ?weight, iron knife handle with copper alloy scales, iron folding knife with bone handle scales and an iron ?hinge fragment.
