Summary

A systematic fieldwalking and metal-detector survey of part of this field in 2021 recovered potentially medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; a possible post-medieval token and a number of other metal objects, including a medieval/post-medieval buckle and mount and post-medieval buttons.

January-February 2025. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of onshore cable for Norfolk Vanguard and Boreas Offshore Wind Farms (Field 150).
No significant concentrations of material were identified. Finds recovered included:
2 undated copper alloy unidentified objects, a lead unidentified object and 3 pieces of lead waste.
1 ?medieval pottery sherd.
Medieval/post-medieval buckle and mount.
1 post-medieval ?token, 1 pottery sherd and 2 buttons.
Post-medieval/modern mount.
