Map

March 2022. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of proposed development site.
This survey identified no potentially archaeologically-significant responses.
Although a number of linear anomalies were recorded these consist of bipolar and dipolar positive and negative responses of very high amplitude and are likely to represent modern features associated with the former pig farm that had occupied the site until recently. Other, more amorphous areas of magnetic disturbance were probably also mostly associated with modern activity, although one at the northern edge of the site appears to coincide with a former marl pit shown on the Ordnance Survey First Editon map (S1).
See report (S2) for further details.
