Map

July-August 2021 and July-August 2022. Watching Brief.
Maintained during creation of new access road for Abbey Farm.
The stripping of the route of the new road revealed a number of linear features, including two east-to-west aligned ditches and three short north-to-south aligned features that potentially represented elements of a single, badly truncated ditch. No finds were recovered from the surface of these features, which were not subject to any further investigation prior to the construction of the road.
See report (S1) for further details.
